The outdoor playground was dedicated in 1998 in honor 
Sr. Felicetta Cola, ASCJ, who arrived at Sacred Heart Villa from Italy at the time of its opening. Sr. Felicetta remained at the Villa for 64 years until retiring to Sacred Heart Manor in Hamden, CT in early 2004. The playground features a kid-friendly wood-chip surface, marked by curved paths and 
a paved center area, perfect for bouncing a ball or riding a tricycle, and in the warmer weather, fun under the sprinkler! For climbers and adventurers, there are four colorful jungle gyms with slides, bridges, and cubby-holes in which to hide! The classes use the playground at various scheduled times throughout the day,
under the close supervision of the Villa staff.
