Sacred Heart Villa opened its doors January 3,1940. The Villa is owned and directed by the Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. The school is located on The Hill in St. Louis, MO. The mission and ministry have remained the same for over 85 years—our commitment to the very young.
Sacred Heart Villa is a Catholic Early Childhood Center. Every weekday, children enter a unique place designed just for them. The Villa is dedicated to the education and care of children in a warm, nurturing Catholic setting.
The Sacred Heart Villa is accredited by the Board of Directors of the Missouri Nonpublic Accrediting Association. This recognition stands as evidence of our school's ongoing commitment to excellence and continuous improvement.
A Legacy of Love: Sister Felicetta Cola
No history of Sacred Heart Villa would be complete without speaking of Sister Felicetta Cola. Sister spent many years at the Villa and was a pioneer in its early childhood development program. She watched countless children grow into adulthood and was beloved by the entire Hill community. Today, the Villa carries on her legacy of love for all the little ones who walk through our doors.
