Sacred Heart Villa is an early childhood learning center that offers an innovative and exciting approach to the education and development of young children. We are open from 6:30 am to 6 pm Monday through Friday, and accept children from ages 2 through Pre-K4. Our families represent a diverse community of different race, ethnicity, and religious beliefs. We are a Catholic school, a ministry of the Apostles of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, and as such, we teach the Catholic faith, though we accept children of all religious backgrounds.
Our days typically begin with arrival and play time for all ages in the playroom, then at 7:30, teachers take the children to the individual classrooms where age appropriate learning occurs. Once a week, the Pre-K3 and Pre-K4 children are taken in small groups to the Atrium room for the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd class, and the Spanish room for Spanish classes. The days include snacks, lunch, and naptime where appropriate. Children are picked up from the large gathering room or outdoors at the end of the day.
We are a Reggio inspired school, and in addition to the programs for the younger set the pre-K4 children are being prepared for Kindergarten.
